My name is Ian Wakeman. I’m a professional videographer, editor, and FAA-certified drone pilot with 6+ years of experience in studio and location work. I started Wake Films in 2019 to help people and brands tell their story.

Now that the boring stuff is out of the way…
I’m a rock climber, dirt biker, and overall outdoor junkie. I have been grateful enough that my passions have allowed me to meet some very unique people and see some pretty incredible places. Through my adventures, I’ve come to the realization that
everyone and every thing has a story, you just need someone to tell it.
This is where I have found my niche. What started as a mere hobby for me to tell my own experiences has quickly developed into a passion for sharing others’. Whether it’s your wedding, your brand, or your event, I promise is to help tell your story with same passion, honesty, and drive that I’ve told my own.
